Dr. Rajeev Tiwari, a distinguished academician, researcher, and strategist with over two decades of experience, has been appointed as the Dean, School of Artificial Intelligence and Head – Industry Connects (across Engineering schools) at Bennett University, The Times Group.
Prior to joining Bennett University, Dr. Tiwari held various strategic leadership roles at reputed institutions like UPES and IILM, where he significantly contributed to curriculum innovation, research, and institutional development.
An alumnus of Thapar University with a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering, Dr. Tiwari also holds B.Tech and M.Tech degrees from Kurukshetra University. With over 180 publications to his credit, including more than 50 in SCI-indexed journals, he is known for his deep commitment to research that has real-world impact—particularly in Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Healthcare, Precision Agriculture, and Community Resilience.
He has successfully led several government-funded research projects worth over INR 75 lakh, backed by agencies such as DST, SERB, AICTE, and IIT Ropar. He has also authored multiple Scopus-indexed books in areas including AI in healthcare, fog-edge computing, energy efficiency, and image-based solutions. Dr. Tiwari is currently guiding 12 Ph.D. candidates in cutting-edge technological domains.
His contributions have been recognised through several accolades, including the Outstanding Researcher Award from the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand and consecutive Best Faculty and Best Researcher awards between 2018 and 2022.
Beyond research, Dr. Tiwari brings strong expertise in institutional accreditation and academic reforms, including NAAC, NBA, NIRF, and NEP-based curriculum design. As a certified AWS Solutions Architect and a Senior Member of IEEE and MIE.
