The CUET PG 2026 Day 4 examinations concluded on 9 March 2026 after the Shift 3 session ended at 5:30 PM. The final shift was conducted from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM in computer-based mode across various test centres. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate programmes from 6 March to 27 March 2026. The exam is being held in three shifts daily for different subjects.

CUET PG 2026 Exam Shift Timings
The postgraduate entrance examination is conducted every day in three sessions. Each shift lasts 90 minutes. The official shift timings followed during the examination are given below.
More than four lakh candidates are expected to appear for the entrance exam this year.
CUET PG 2026 Documents Required at the Exam Centre
Candidates appearing for the entrance test must carry certain documents for verification before entering the exam hall. The required documents include the following:
- Printed CUET PG 2026 admit card
- Valid photo ID proof such as Aadhaar card, PAN card or passport
- Recent passport-size photograph
- PwD certificate, if applicable
Candidates who fail to produce these documents may not be permitted to appear for the exam.
CUET PG 2026 Dress Code Guidelines for Candidates
The National Testing Agency has issued dress code instructions to ensure smooth security checks at examination centres. Candidates should follow the guidelines mentioned below.
Dress Code for Male Candidates
- Wear simple and comfortable clothing
- Avoid caps, mufflers, belts, or metallic accessories
- Do not wear jewellery or items containing metal
- Prefer sandals or chappals instead of closed footwear
Dress Code for Female Candidates
- Wear comfortable attire such as kurtas, tops, and trousers
- Avoid metallic jewellery including rings, bracelets, or necklaces
- Do not wear clothing with metallic buttons
- Keep hairstyles simple and avoid large hair accessories
CUET PG 2026 Items Prohibited Inside Exam Hall
The exam authority has restricted certain items inside the examination hall to maintain the integrity of the test. The following items are not allowed at the exam centre:
- Mobile phones
- Smart watches or digital watches
- Bluetooth devices
- Calculators
- Books or written notes
- Any electronic gadgets
Exam centres are monitored through CCTV surveillance, and candidates found using unfair means may face disqualification. CUET PG 2026 scores will be used for admission to postgraduate programmes in more than 90 participating universities, including institutions such as the University of Delhi, Jawaharlal Nehru University, and Banaras Hindu University.
