CUET PG Exam 2026 is being conducted by the National Testing Agency from 6 March to 27 March 2026 in computer-based mode. The examination is held across multiple test cities for admission to postgraduate programmes offered by participating universities. The exam is conducted in three shifts each day, with every shift lasting 90 minutes. More than 4 lakh candidates are expected to appear for the entrance test this year.

CUET PG 2026 Reporting Time and Gate Closing Time
Candidates are required to reach the exam centre well before the gate closing time. Entry to the examination hall is strictly restricted after the gate closing time.

CUET PG 2026 Day 1 Exam Difficulty Level

Documents Required for CUET PG Exam Day 2026
Candidates appearing for the exam must carry the following documents to the test centre. Without these documents, entry to the examination hall will not be permitted.
- Printed CUET PG 2026 admit card
- Valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar card, PAN card, or passport)
- Passport-size photograph
- PwD certificate (if applicable)
Items Prohibited Inside CUET PG Exam Centre
The National Testing Agency has restricted several items inside the examination hall to ensure fair conduct of the exam. The following items are strictly not allowed:
- Mobile phones
- Smart watches or digital watches
- Bluetooth devices
- Calculators
- Books or written notes
- Any electronic gadgets
The exam centres are monitored through CCTV surveillance, and candidates found using unfair means may face disqualification from the examination process.
CUET PG scores will be used for admission to postgraduate programmes offered by central universities such as University of Delhi, Jawaharlal Nehru University, and Banaras Hindu University, along with several state and participating universities.
