The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) February 2026 session was conducted nationwide on February 7 and February 8, 2026 by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). However, Paper 2 could not be held at two examination centres in Bihar due to administrative reasons. CBSE has now officially announced that CTET Paper 2 will be conducted on March 1, 2026, exclusively for candidates who were allotted these affected centres.
CTET February 2026: Revised Exam Date
According to the latest notification, only candidates whose Paper 2 was cancelled earlier will be eligible to appear in the rescheduled examination. The Board has clarified that no further opportunity will be provided after this attempt for the 21st edition of CTET. Candidates will not be allowed to request any change in examination centre or exam date.
Revised CTET Admit Card 2026
CBSE has informed that revised CTET admit cards will be released shortly on the official website ctet.nic.in. Candidates must download and carry the updated admit card, as it is mandatory for entry at the examination centre.
List of Affected CTET Exam Centres in Bihar
The Paper 2 exam will be conducted at the following centres:
- Lakshya International Academy, Bihar
- John's Academy, Basmati Nagar, Bihar
Only candidates originally allotted to these centres should appear on March 1.
CTET Answer Key 2026 Update
The CTET February 2026 provisional answer key is expected to be released anytime soon. Around 25.3 lakh candidates who appeared for the examination are awaiting the release. Once published, candidates will be allowed to challenge the answer key within 2–3 days by paying a fee of INR 1,000 per question.
