The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will close the CTET February 2026 provisional answer key objection window on 15 March 2026. Candidates can challenge the answer key through ctet.nic.in by paying INR 1,000 per question.

CTET Feb 2026 Answer Key Objection Window Closes on March 15 as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has given candidates a limited period to challenge the provisional answer key of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) February 2026.

 

Candidates who appeared for the examination can submit objections against the provisional key by logging in to the official portal ctet.nic.in using their application number, password, and date of birth. The objection facility allows candidates to report any discrepancies they identify in the provisional answer key or in the scanned OMR response sheet released by CBSE.

Candidates must pay a prescribed fee to raise challenges against the provisional answer key.

The fee paid for raising objections is non-refundable, even if the challenge is not accepted by the exam authority.

Candidates can submit objections through the official CTET portal by following these steps:

  2. Click on the link “CTET Feb-2026 Key Challenge / Scanned Images of OMR”
  3. Log in using application number and password
  4. Select the question(s) to challenge
  5. Upload valid supporting documents
  6. Pay the objection fee and submit the challenge

Candidates are advised to upload valid proof while submitting the challenge to support their claim.

 

What Happens After the Objection Window Closes?

Once the objection window closes, CBSE subject experts will review all challenges submitted by candidates. If any discrepancy is found, the board will revise the answer key before releasing the final version.
