CTET Answer Key 2026 has been released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for the February session examination. Candidates who appeared for the 21st edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) can now access the provisional answer key on the official website ctet.nic.in. The board has also uploaded the scanned images of the candidates’ OMR answer sheets along with the response keys.

The CTET 2026 examination was conducted on 7 February 2026 and 8 February 2026 across multiple centres. In addition, the CTET Paper 2 exam was conducted on 1 March 2026 for two exam centres in Bihar where the examination was postponed earlier due to administrative reasons.

CTET Answer Key 2026 Download Process

Candidates who appeared for the exam can download the answer key through the official portal. The answer key is available for both Paper 1 and Paper 2, along with the individual response sheets. Before accessing the answer key, candidates should keep their login credentials ready. The following steps explain the download process:

  • Visit the official website ctet.nic.in
  • Click on the link titled “CTET February 2026 – Provisional Answer Key for Paper 1 and Paper 2”
  • Enter the application number and password
  • The answer key and response sheet will appear on the screen
  • Download the file and keep a printed copy for future reference

Candidates can also directly access the answer key through the official portal activated by the board.

CTET 2026 Objection Window and Challenge Process

Along with the provisional answer key, CBSE has opened the objection window for candidates who wish to challenge any answer. This facility allows candidates to submit objections if they find discrepancies in the published answer key.

The objection facility is available for a limited period, and candidates must submit their challenges within the prescribed deadline. Each objection requires the payment of a specified fee per question, which must be paid online during submission.

Candidates are advised to carefully review their OMR response sheets and the provisional answer key before submitting objections. After reviewing all challenges, CBSE will release the final CTET answer key, which will be used to prepare the CTET February 2026 result and cut-off marks.

The CTET examination determines the eligibility of candidates for teaching positions in central government schools including Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, and other institutions. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website ctet.nic.in for further announcements regarding the final answer key and result declaration.
