The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has closed the objection window for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2026 provisional answer key on 15 March 2026. Candidates who appeared for the examination were allowed to raise challenges against the provisional answer key through the official portal. CTET Answer Key 2026 Challenge Process
During the objection window, candidates had the option to challenge any answer in the provisional key by logging in to the official CTET portal. The process required submitting a valid explanation along with supporting documents. Applicants also had to pay an objection fee of ₹1000 per question to submit a challenge. The fee was required for each question raised against the provisional answer key.The objection window remained open from 12 March to 15 March 2026 (11:59 PM).
What Happens After the Objection Window Closes?
After the closure of the challenge window, CBSE will review all objections submitted by candidates. Subject experts will evaluate the claims and supporting evidence provided in each challenge. If any discrepancies are found, the board may revise the provisional answers before releasing the final answer key.
CTET 2026 Final Answer Key and Result
The final CTET answer key will be released after the evaluation of objections. The CTET result will be prepared based on the final answer key approved by the examination authority. The CTET exam is conducted as a national-level eligibility test for candidates aspiring to become teachers for Classes 1 to 8 in government and private schools across India.
