The Central Board of Secondary Education will soon publish the provisional answer key and candidate response sheets for the CTET February 2026 session. Candidates can download PDFs from the official CTET website and raise objections before the final key is released.

CTET 2026 Provisional Answer Key & Response Sheet Updates Soon

The Central Board of Secondary Education is expected to release the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2026 provisional answer key and scanned response sheets for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 soon on the official portal ctet.nic.in. The CTET February session was conducted on 7 and 8 February 2026 across numerous centres nationwide, assessing candidates for eligibility as teachers for primary and upper primary levels.

Expected CTET 2026 Answer Key Release and Timeline

Following the conclusion of the examination, the CTET provisional answer key is usually released within 10–15 days of the test date. Based on previous patterns and expert projections, the **answer key and OMR response sheets are anticipated to be published by the third week of February 2026. When available, candidates will be able to log in to their accounts on ctet.nic.in using their credentials and download the provisional answer key and recorded responses for both Paper 1 and Paper 2. These documents allow aspirants to estimate their scores before the final result is declared.

How to Download CTET 2026 Answer Key and Response Sheets

Once the CTET answer key is officially released, aspirants should follow these steps:

  1. Visit https://ctet.nic.in and navigate to the answer key section.
  2. Enter the roll number and date of birth or password to log in
  3. Select the link for Paper 1 and Paper 2 answer keys and response sheets.
  4. Download the PDF files and save them for future reference.

These documents will be available for download in PDF format and can help candidates estimate their performance and calculate expected scores.

Objection Window and Final Answer Key

After the release of the provisional answer key, CBSE will open an objection window, allowing candidates to challenge any answers they believe are incorrect by submitting supporting evidence online. Typically, candidates must pay a prescribed challenge fee per question for each objection raised. Once the objection window closes and all representations are reviewed, CBSE will issue the final answer key, which will be used to prepare the official CTET 2026 results.

What Happens Next After Answer Key Release?

Following the final answer key, the board will announce the CTET 2026 results, which may be expected in late February or early March 2026, based on trends from previous years. Candidates who qualify CTET will receive their eligibility certificates, which are required for recruitment to teaching posts in central government schools such as KVS, NVS, and other state agencies that recognise CTET scores. Aspirants are advised to regularly check ctet.nic.in for the official provisional answer key announcement, objection window details, and result updates as they become available.
