The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will soon release the CTET 2026 OMR response sheet for all candidates who appeared in the examination held on 7–8 February 2026. Alongside, the provisional answer key will be published, allowing aspirants to calculate tentative scores and raise objections if required.
CTET 2026 OMR Response Sheet Release Date
- The OMR response sheet is expected between 22 February and 25 February 2026.
- Candidates will need their application number and date of birth to log in and download their responses.
- The answer key for Paper I (Primary Teachers) and Paper II (Elementary Teachers) will also be available for download on the official portal ctet.nic.in.

How to Download CTET 2026 Response Sheet & Answer Key?
- Visit the official CTET website: ctet.nic.in
- Look for the link “CTET 2026 Answer Key / OMR Response Sheet”.
- Log in with Application Number and Date of Birth.
- Download your OMR response sheet and provisional answer key in PDF format.
- Save a copy for future reference and verification.
CTET 2026 Objection Window
- After the provisional answer key is released, CBSE will open an objection window for candidates to challenge any discrepancies.
- Objections must be submitted within the stipulated timeframe through the official portal.
- A nominal fee is charged per question challenged, which will be refunded if the challenge is accepted.
Tentative Score Calculation
- The CTET 2026 OMR response sheet allows candidates to calculate tentative scores using the official marking scheme.
- Correct answers are awarded +1 mark, while no negative marking is applicable.
- Subject-wise and overall scores can be cross-checked against the provisional answer key before final results are declared.
