The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is preparing to release the official CTET 2026 answer key for Paper 1 and Paper 2 on the official website ctet.nic.in. Candidates will be able to download the answer key PDFs and raise objections within the designated window before the final key is published and results are declared.
The central conducting authority for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2026, the Central Board of Secondary Education, is expected to publish the official answer key for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 on the official portal ctet.nic.in shortly. This release will allow candidates who appeared in the February 2026 session to verify their responses and estimate probable scores. According to current updates, the official answer key is anticipated within days after the examination concluded, maintaining the board’s usual timeline for key releases each year.
Candidates can download the CTET 2026 answer key PDFs from the official portal once released
When the official answer key is published, candidates must visit ctet.nic.in to access the answer key PDF for Paper 1 and Paper 2. These PDFs will be made available for each shift and question set. Once available, aspirants can download the files and start cross-checking their answers. Using the official answer keys, candidates can calculate their estimated scores by matching their recorded responses with the official solutions. This helps in predicting qualifying status before the results are declared.
An objection window will be opened for challenges against the provisional answer key
After the provisional answer key is released, CBSE is expected to open a window for raising objections against any answers that candidates find incorrect or unclear. To challenge any answer, candidates usually need to provide proper justification and supporting documents as required by the board’s guidelines. A nominal fee is typically charged per question challenged, and this fee may be refunded if the objection is found valid by experts during review. Once all objections are considered and resolved, the board will release the final CTET 2026 answer key.
CTET 2026 exam was held on 7 and 8 February in multiple shifts across India
The CTET 2026 examination for the February session was conducted on 7 and 8 February 2026, with two shifts each day, across numerous exam centres nationwide. Both Paper 1 and Paper 2 evaluated candidates on a range of topics relevant to teaching aptitude and subject awareness for primary and elementary levels.
Once the final answer key is published, results are expected by late March 2026
Following the official final key release, the CTET 2026 result is anticipated by late March 2026, after applying all evaluations and normalization processes. The CTET certificate, once qualified, is valid for life and is used for eligibility in various teaching recruitment and appointment procedures. Candidates are advised to keep checking ctet.nic.in regularly for the latest updates on the official CTET 2026 answer key, objection dates and result announcements.
