Congress leaders have alleged discrepancies in answer-sheet evaluation and questioned the number of candidates shortlisted for interviews. These remain allegations and have not been established as findings against CGPSC.

Former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel had called for measures including publication of evaluated answer sheets, disclosure of evaluator criteria, release of model answers and re-evaluation of answer sheets. The ruling BJP has rejected the allegations and said evaluation is carried out by subject experts while candidate identities remain concealed.
