Admission Pathway After CEED Result
Clearing CEED is the first step for candidates aiming to pursue Master of Design (M.Des) or PhD programmes. However, a valid CEED score does not automatically guarantee admission. Qualified candidates must separately apply to individual design departments and institutes that accept CEED 2026 scores. Admissions often involve studio tests, personal interviews, and portfolio evaluations as part of the selection process.
Leading institutes such as the Industrial Design Centre (IDC) at IIT Bombay, Department of Design at IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, and IISc Bangalore are among the top participating colleges that use CEED scores for admission.
