CBSE has postponed Class 10 and Class 12 board exams scheduled on 02 March 2026 in select Middle East countries. The board will review the situation on 03 March 2026 and announce revised dates soon.

CBSE Postpones Class 10 and 12 Exams on 02 March 2026 in Middle East. The decision has been announced by the Central Board of Secondary Education through an official circular dated 01 March 2026. The postponement applies to board examinations scheduled for Monday, 02 March 2026 in select Middle East countries. The board has stated that fresh dates for the postponed examinations will be announced later.

 

CBSE Class 10 and 12 Exams 2026 Affected Countries

The postponement applies to CBSE-affiliated schools located in the following countries:

  • Bahrain
  • Iran
  • Kuwait
  • Oman
  • Qatar
  • Saudi Arabia
  • United Arab Emirates

The board cited the current situation in parts of the Middle East region as the reason for deferring the examinations.

 

CBSE Exam Review on 03 March 2026

CBSE has informed that it will review the prevailing situation on Tuesday, 03 March 2026. Based on the assessment, a decision will be taken regarding examinations scheduled from 05 March 2026 onwards. Students and schools have been advised to remain in contact and regularly check official CBSE communication channels for verified updates.

The board has clarified that further instructions regarding revised examination dates will be issued after review. Candidates appearing from other international regions are advised to check with their respective schools for specific guidance related to their examination centres.
