CBSE Class 12 Date Sheet 2027 Released: How Parents Can Help JEE Main Aspirants Prepare for Both?

The CBSE Class 12 Date Sheet 2027 has been released for the 2026–27 academic session. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the Class 12 theory examinations from February 16 to April 9, 2027. The timetable gives students preparing for JEE Main 2027 an opportunity to organise their board examination revision alongside engineering entrance preparation.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has also announced the JEE Main 2027 schedule. Session 1 will be held on January 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 and 28, while Session 2 is scheduled from April 2 to 7. Parents can help students manage both examinations by supporting a realistic study routine, reducing unnecessary pressure and ensuring sufficient time for board-specific written practice.

CBSE Board Exams and JEE Main 2027 Dates

Students preparing for both examinations should keep the following schedule in mind.

The JEE Main Session 1 examination will conclude before the CBSE Class 12 theory examinations begin. However, Session 2 overlaps with the final part of the CBSE board examination schedule for some subjects. Students should compare their individual subject dates with their JEE Main examination schedule.

CBSE Class 12 Important Subject-Wise Exam Dates 2027

Students preparing for JEE Main should pay particular attention to the dates of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, along with other subjects included in their Class 12 combination.

Students should download the complete CBSE Class 12 Date Sheet PDF to check the dates for all their registered subjects.

How Parents Can Help JEE Main Aspirants Manage Both Exams?

Parents can support students by helping them maintain a balanced preparation routine rather than creating additional pressure. The following steps can make the preparation period more manageable.

• Prepare a Realistic Study Timetable
• Focus on NCERT and Board-Specific Preparation
• Avoid Comparing Mock Test Scores
• Encourage Regular Breaks and Proper Sleep
• Track Preparation Without Micromanaging

How Students Can Balance JEE Main and CBSE Board Preparation

Students can use the announced examination schedule to divide their preparation into different phases.

• Before JEE Main Session 1: Focus on completing the JEE syllabus, revising important concepts and practising full-length mock tests.
• After Session 1: Shift more attention towards CBSE board preparation, including written answers, derivations, diagrams and sample papers.
• Before CBSE examinations: Prioritise the subject scheduled next while maintaining short revision sessions for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
• Before JEE Main Session 2: Continue entrance-level question practice and check whether the allotted JEE date conflicts with any remaining board examination.

Students should adjust this plan according to their subject combination, preparation level and individual JEE Main examination date.
