• Students appearing for Class 12 for the first time whose result is declared as Compartment.

• Candidates who passed the Main Examination 2026 and wish to improve performance in one subject.
• Students placed in the Compartment category in one subject.
• Candidates having a compartment in two subjects may apply for one of the two subjects.
• Compartment (Third Chance) candidates who first appeared in Class 12 Examination 2025 can appear only as Private Candidates.
• Regular students declared Pass but who failed in one subject may appear in that subject under the Improvement of Performance category, provided the examination is scheduled.
• Regular students declared Pass may also appear in one subject for improvement where the examination is conducted.
• Students placed in the compartment category are eligible for a maximum of three chances to qualify the examination.
• A consolidated marksheet will be issued only to students whose result was declared Compartment and who subsequently pass the supplementary examination.
