CBSE Class 10 Result 2026 for students in the Middle East will be prepared using a special assessment scheme. The Central Board of Secondary Education has cancelled the remaining board exams and will evaluate students based on a formula-driven method.
CBSE Class 10 Exam Cancellation 2026 in Middle East Countries
The board took this decision after continued disruptions in several West Asian countries. The situation impacted the smooth conduct of examinations. The exams have been cancelled in the following countries:
- Bahrain
- Iran
- Kuwait
- Oman
- Qatar
- Saudi Arabia
- United Arab Emirates
Earlier, CBSE had postponed the exams in phases. However, due to worsening conditions, the board decided to cancel the remaining papers.
CBSE Class 10 2026 Special Assessment Scheme Details
CBSE will now evaluate students using a formula-based approach instead of conducting fresh exams. This method ensures timely declaration of results without further delay. The key features of the assessment scheme are:
- Marks will be based on exams already conducted
- Average of best-performing subjects will be used
- Missing exam scores will be calculated using internal formula
- Evaluation aims to maintain fairness and consistency
This approach is similar to previous contingency assessment methods used by the board.
Reason Behind CBSE Decision for Special Evaluation
The decision comes after serious disruptions caused by geopolitical tensions in the region. The ongoing conflict situation led to repeated postponements of examinations. The board prioritised student safety and logistical feasibility while taking the decision. Conducting exams under such conditions was not considered viable.
CBSE Class 10 Result 2026 for Middle East Students
The board will announce the results based on the special scheme in due course. Students will be able to access their results through official CBSE platforms. Students are advised to stay updated with official notifications regarding result declaration and further academic steps.
