The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that the registration window for Children With Special Needs (CWSN) appearing in the Class 10 and Class 12 Board Exams 2026 will open on September 9, 2025. Schools will have to complete the process through the Pariksha Sangam portal.
According to the official circular, schools must mark students as CWSN in the List of Candidates (LOC) and upload supporting documents within the given timeline to ensure candidates receive the prescribed benefits.

How Schools Can Register CWSN Students?
Schools have been instructed to follow a specific procedure while registering students under the CWSN category.
- Log in to the Pariksha Sangam portal with existing credentials
- Open the CWSN module
- Check the list of candidates marked as CWSN in the LOC
- Select the required facilities permissible for each category of disability
- Confirm details to ensure they reflect on the admit cards
- Upload all necessary documents before final submission
Once this process is completed, the facilities chosen for CWSN students will automatically appear on the admit cards, allowing exam centres to make the required arrangements in advance.

CBSE has notified that facilities will be allocated based on the type of disability. Schools must ensure accuracy while selecting them in the portal.
