The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has revised the CA Intermediate May 2026 exam schedule. As per the latest update, the exam will now begin from 5 May 2026, instead of the earlier date. The revised schedule applies only to CA Intermediate, while other examinations will continue as previously planned.

 

CA Intermediate May 2026 Revised Exam Dates

Candidates appearing for the CA Inter exam can check the updated group-wise schedule below. The exams will be conducted across multiple days.

CA Intermediate Previous Schedule and Changes

Earlier, the CA Intermediate exams were scheduled to begin on 3 May 2026. However, ICAI has postponed the start date by two days. The revised schedule ensures no changes in the remaining exam structure, and other ICAI exams such as Foundation and Final remain unchanged.

 

CA Intermediate 2026 Exam Pattern

The CA Inter exam consists of two groups with multiple papers. Each paper carries specific marks and subject components.

 

Group I Subjects and Marks

Paper 3 includes:

  • Income Tax Law (50 marks)
  • Goods and Services Tax (50 marks)

 

Group II Subjects and Marks

Paper 6 includes:

  • Financial Management (50 marks)
  • Strategic Management (50 marks)
