The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has extended the deadline for Teacher Directory submission to 3 February 2026 for Principals of affiliated schools, a key step in the answer-sheet evaluation process for the Class 10 and 12 board exams 2026. The annual BSEB examinations are underway with Class 12 exams starting in early February and Class 10 exams following later in the month.

BSEB Board Exams 2026: Teacher Directory Submission Extended to 3 Feb

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has announced a final extension for the online submission of the Teacher Directory for the BSEB Board Exams 2026. Principals of recognised secondary and senior secondary schools can now upload or update teacher details between 30 January and 3 February 2026 through the board’s portal at teacherdirectory.biharboardonline.com or biharboardonline.com. This extended deadline is crucial for ensuring accurate teacher data is available for the evaluation and moderation process of answer sheets for the Class 10 (Matric) and Class 12 (Intermediate) examinations. The board urged all District Education Officers (DEOs) to ensure full compliance during this period to avoid any disruptions in evaluation workflows.

New Teacher Directory Submission Deadline and Rules

Under the revised schedule:

  • Teacher Directory upload window: 30 January 2026 to 3 February 2026
  • Only current school principals of recognised and affiliated institutions are authorised to submit details.
  • Schools with suspended or withdrawn affiliation are not eligible to participate. )

Accurate and timely submission of the directory helps the board assign evaluators and manage logistical arrangements as BSEB transitions from exam conduct to answer-sheet checking and result processing.

BSEB Board Exams 2026 Dates and Schedule

The BSEB Class 12 board exams 2026 were conducted in early February and are an important benchmark for students’ further education opportunities. The Class 10 board exams are scheduled later in the month. Both exams are conducted in offline (pen-and-paper) mode across multiple centres and in two shifts daily. Students and schools are also reminded to strictly adhere to exam-related instructions issued by BSEB to maintain discipline and avoid malpractice during the board exam period. The board has emphasised punctuality and compliance with centre rules to ensure a fair and streamlined examination process.

What Principals and Schools Should Do?

School authorities must:

  • Log in to the official teacher directory portal before 3 February 2026.
  • Verify and update information for all evaluators and supervisory staff.
  • Confirm that teacher details align with current roles and postings.
  • Coordinate with DEOs for support if issues arise.

Timely completion of the directory update ensures that the BSEB evaluation phase progresses smoothly, helping the board meet timelines for answer-sheet evaluation and subsequent result declarations later in 2026. Students and schools are encouraged to regularly check the official BSEB website and related portals for further updates on results, scorecards and other board communications.
