Australia Student Visa Rules 2026: Restrict Onshore Applications for Indian Students

Australia introduced new Student visa rules on October 2, 2026, restricting who can apply for a Student visa (subclass 500) while already in the country. The changes affect Indian applicants holding certain temporary visas, as well as current international students planning to change education providers or include family members in their applications.
