The Xavier School of Management (XLRI) has successfully concluded its Summer Internship Placement (SIP) process for the 2025–27 batch of its flagship programs — PGDM-HRM, PGDM-BM, and PGDM-LSCM. A total of 583 students from both Jamshedpur and Delhi-NCR campuses received 584 internship offers from 114 organizations, including 28 new recruiters. The highest stipend offered was INR 3.50 lakh per month, from the BFSI sector.
Placement Highlights
The overall Xavier School of Management (XLRI) average stipend stood at INR 1.6 lakh per month, while the median touched INR 1.55 lakh per month. Breakdown of stipend distribution:
- Top 5%: INR 2.49 lakh per month
- Top 10%: INR 2.40 lakh per month
- Top 25%: INR 2.23 lakh per month
- 38% of the batch earned above INR 2 lakh per month
- 62% received stipends above INR 1.5 lakh per month
- 81% secured stipends above INR 1 lakh per month
Key Recruiting Domains
The offers spanned Consulting, Finance, Sales & Marketing, Product Management, Operations, IT Systems, General Management, and Human Resources.
- Consulting & Advisory accounted for nearly 30% of total placements. Top recruiters: Accenture Strategy, Bain, BCG, Deloitte USI, EY-Parthenon, KPMG, McKinsey & Company, and PwC US.
- BFSI sector participation was strong with firms like Axis Bank, Bajaj Finserv, Barclays, Citi, Deutsche Bank (Investment Banking), Goldman Sachs, HSBC, ICICI Bank, JPMC, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and NPCI.
- Top FMCG and manufacturing recruiters included AB InBev, Asian Paints, Coca-Cola, Colgate-Palmolive, Emami, HUL, ITC, Marico, Mondelez, Nestlé, P&G, Reckitt, and Tata Consumer Products.
- Conglomerate participation came from Aditya Birla Group, Godrej Group, JSW, Mahindra, Reliance, Tata Administrative Services, and Vedanta.
- Tech and e-commerce companies such as Amazon, American Express, Flipkart, CarDekho, Media.net, JioStar, Samsung, TransUnion CIBIL, and UNext also recruited actively.
New Recruiters at XLRI
This year saw 28 new organizations joining the placement process, including Eternal, Standard Chartered, JioStar, UKG, Pine Labs, Meesho, Deloitte USI, Deutsche Bank IB, Diageo, Valorant Consulting, Philip Morris, Firstclub, and Joveo. Returning firms included Airtel, AM/NS, Bajaj Auto, BPCL, Carl Zeiss, Michelin, Ola, Renew Power, RPG CEAT, Shell, Suzuki, Tata Steel, and Vodafone Idea.
