XLRI – Xavier School of Management has successfully completed the 2026 final placement cycle for its PGDM (BM) and PGDM (HRM) 2024-26 cohort, reflecting robust demand for its management talent despite a challenging job market. The placement process took place across XLRI’s Jamshedpur and Delhi-NCR campuses, with a strong lineup of recruiters participating.

Consulting remained the chief recruiting domain, accounting for the largest share of offers. Banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) followed closely, along with strong participation from sales and marketing roles. Top sectors hiring included:

  • ITES and e-commerce

Well-known recruiters such as Accenture Strategy, Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Deloitte, EY Parthenon, Amazon, Flipkart and Google were among those participating in the placement drive.

 

XLRI 2026 Salary Distribution & Offer Patterns

The placement statistics also highlighted strong compensation trends beyond the highest package:

  • The average salary of Rs 31.40 lakh per annum points to broad-based demand across functions.
  • With a median salary of Rs 29 lakh per annum, more than half of the placed students earned competitive pay packages.
  • A significant proportion of the cohort received Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) through summer internships, reinforcing XLRI’s emphasis on industry-ready training and internship performance.
