XLRI Jamshedpur will conduct the second official XAT 2027 mock test from September 30 to October 1, 2026. For XAT 2027 eligibility, candidates need a recognised bachelor's degree of at least three years' duration in any discipline. Students appearing for their final examinations by the specified June 2027 deadline are also eligible.

The official mock test is intended to familiarise candidates with the major sections of the XAT exam pattern 2027, including Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning, Decision Making, Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation, and General Knowledge.

5. Open the mock test during the September 30 to October 1 window.

The XAT 2027 application fee is Rs 2,300, with an additional Rs 200 for candidates applying to XLRI programmes, according to the official registration information.

XAT 2027 Registration and Exam Date

Although the deadline to become eligible for the second mock test is September 27, the XAT 2027 registration process itself remains open until December 6, 2026. Candidates who miss the mock-test eligibility deadline can still apply for the XAT 2027 examination before the final registration deadline.

The actual XAT 2027 exam will be conducted on January 3, 2027, from 2 PM to 5 PM. The official FAQ also states that there are no sectional time limits, allowing candidates to access the sections during the overall examination duration.
