The Xavier Aptitude Test is among the major national-level MBA entrance exams, and the last date to apply is December 11, 2025, with the portal closing at 11:59 pm. The registration process began on July 10, 2025. The original deadline was December 5, but the authorities extended it by six days. With the extension ending today, the exam body has clarified that no further deadline shift is likely. Candidates who plan to sit for the test must complete the form and payment before the portal shuts. The XAT 2026 exam is scheduled for January 4, 2026, and will be conducted across nearly 109 cities. Test centre allocation will depend on the cities selected in the form. Each applicant can choose up to six preferred locations. The final centre details will be printed on the XAT 2026 admit card, which will be released on December 20, 2025, on the official website.
XAT 2026: How to Fill the Application Form?
Candidates must complete all steps—registration, form submission, and fee payment—before the deadline. The process includes:
- Visit xatonline.in
- Click on ‘Registration’
- Enter the basic details and verify the account through the link sent to the registered email
- Open the XAT 2026 dashboard
- Fill in academic details, address, category, and work experience
- Upload a passport-size photograph, scanned signature, and a valid ID proof
- Select up to six test cities
- Pay the application fee
The application fee is ₹2,200, and candidates applying for any XLRI programme must pay an additional ₹200. Payments can be made using credit card, debit card, or net banking. The fee is non-refundable.
