Candidates are advised to reach the examination centre well before the reporting time to complete verification and security checks smoothly.

XAT 2026 Exam Pattern and Sections

The XAT 2026 question paper will consist of four key sections, designed to test analytical ability, verbal proficiency, and decision-making skills required for management education. The sections included in the paper are:

• Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning
• Decision Making
• Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation
• General Knowledge

Each section carries significant weight in the overall evaluation, with Decision Making being a distinctive component of XAT as compared to other national management entrance exams.

National-Level Legacy of XAT

For more than seventy five years, XLRI has been conducting the Xavier Aptitude Test at the national level to identify and shortlist suitable candidates for leadership and management roles. The exam continues to serve as a gateway for admissions into prestigious B-schools including XLRI Jamshedpur and other XAMI-member institutions. With the registration window closing today, candidates who are yet to complete their application process must act promptly to avoid missing the opportunity to appear for one of India’s most respected management entrance examinations. The coming weeks will now be crucial for registered candidates as they prepare for the January examination and subsequent admission stages.
