Along with his wife, he has been engaged with the institute’s alumni community since 1980 and also returned to campus to teach for a semester in 2006. Before this latest contribution, the couple had already established 2 merit-cum-need scholarships in 2009, which continue to support students from economically weaker backgrounds. The current endowment significantly expands that commitment, both in scale and scope.
