The 2025 SLST exams follow a Supreme Court order that cancelled the 2016 teacher recruitment, declaring it “tainted and vitiated.” As a result, approximately 26,000 teachers and staff lost their posts. The fresh SLST drive is designed to be transparent and fair, disqualifying “tainted” candidates.
