The WBJEE 2026 registration process has not yet started as the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) is yet to announce official dates. Based on previous trends and the ongoing WBCHSE board exams (ending 27 February 2026), the WBJEE application form is expected to be released after the board exams conclude.
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has not yet opened the WBJEE 2026 registration window on its official website wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee. Candidates looking to apply for the state-level engineering entrance test must wait for the official announcement of the application form release.
WBJEE 2026 Registration Status and When to Expect the Form
As of now, WBJEEB has not announced any date for the WBJEE 2026 application process. Earlier expectations were that the form might be released in January 2026, but no official update has been issued yet. The delay in notification may be linked to the ongoing West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) board examinations, which are scheduled to conclude on 27 February 2026. Reports suggest the registration might begin after these board exams are over, allowing Class 12 candidates to focus on their state exams before applying for WBJEE. Once released, the application form is expected to remain open for at least one month, giving candidates sufficient time to complete the registration and fee payment process.
Expected WBJEE 2026 Timeline
While the official schedule is still pending, tentative timelines based on past cycles indicate:
- Registration start: Likely after Feb 27, 2026 (after board exams)
- Application window: Typically 1 month or more
- Exam date (tentative): Likely in April 2026
- Admit card: A few weeks before the exam
- Result: Expected by June 2026
This pattern aligns with how WBJEE dates have been announced in previous years, though this year’s release has been delayed.
