WBJEE 2026 Exam Date Delayed, Registration Likely in January

WBJEE 2026 exam date has not been announced yet by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board. As per previous years’ trends, the official WBJEE 2026 notification was expected in the second week of December 2025. However, no official update regarding the exam date or schedule has been released so far.

WBJEEB is expected to release the WBJEE 2026 exam date and the official information brochure soon on the official website. Candidates planning to appear for the exam are advised to stay alert for upcoming announcements.

WBJEE 2026 Exam Date Delay: Possible Reasons

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board has not issued any official clarification on the delay in the WBJEE 2026 exam date announcement. However, the delay is likely linked to issues faced during the WBJEE 2025–26 counselling and admission cycle.

Due to the OBC category-related matter, the counselling and admission process for the previous academic year concluded later than usual. This late completion may have affected the planning of the academic calendar for the upcoming session.

Authorities are expected to finalise the WBJEE 2026 schedule after careful assessment of admission timelines and academic session planning. This precautionary approach may be the key reason behind the delay.

Once released, the notification will be made available only on the official website. Candidates should avoid relying on unofficial sources for exam-related updates.
