WBJEE 2025 Results have been delayed once again after a directive from the Calcutta High Court. The court asked the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) to prepare a fresh merit list following revised reservation policies.
WBJEEB Certificate Upload Window Open Till August 21
WBJEEB has instructed SC, ST, and OBC candidates to upload their caste certificates on the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in. The upload window will remain active until 11:59 PM on August 21, 2025.
Why WBJEE 2025 Results Delayed?
The exam board had earlier assured students that the results would be declared by August 7, but the deadline was missed. The High Court intervened after starting contempt proceedings against the state and directed the board to ensure 7% reservation for 66 OBC categories based on an older state policy.
WBJEE 2025 Result Delay Triggers Student Protests?
The ongoing delays have led to student protests across the state. On Monday, the student wing ABVP demonstrated outside the Education Department. Meanwhile, BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari has threatened statewide protests if the results are not declared soon.
What WBJEE 2025 Candidates Should Do Next
Candidates must upload their required documents within the deadline and regularly check the WBJEEB official website for the latest updates on the revised merit list and final result announcement.
