The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has revised the Madhyamik Pariksha 2026 enrollment deadline, reopening the portal on short notice. The online window will be open from 27 January to 28 January 2026, allowing schools to complete registrations and corrections for eligible students. This step ensures students who missed earlier deadlines are not deprived of appearing in the board exams.

WBBSE Madhyamik 2026 Enrollment Deadline Revised; Register by Jan 28

The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has announced a revised deadline for the Madhyamik Pariksha (Class 10) 2026 enrollment process, providing a final opportunity for eligible students to complete registration ahead of the upcoming board exams.

Revised Madhyamik Pariksha 2026 Enrollment Timeline

WBBSE has reopened the Madhyamik Pariksha 2026 online enrollment portal to accommodate students who could not complete registration previously due to school-level lapses. The portal will now remain open from 12:00 PM on 27 January 2026 to 12:00 PM on 28 January 2026.

This revised window allows schools to enter or correct registration data for students who were eligible but not enrolled during earlier dates. Schools must finish all required entries within this limited timeframe to ensure students can appear in the Class 10 board examinations.

Reason for Deadline Revision

The Board identified that many eligible students missed the initial registration window due to administrative lapses at the school level. To ensure that these students are not unfairly excluded from the Madhyamik Pariksha 2026, WBBSE provided this short extension for final enrolment and corrections. Only schools can complete or correct student registration details; individual students or guardians are not permitted to make direct submissions to the Board. This final window is strictly for students who meet WBBSE’s eligibility criteria, including academic and attendance requirements.

Who Can Register in This Extended Window?

This extended registration opportunity is intended for:

  • Regular candidates appearing for the Madhyamik Pariksha 2026
  • Continuing students who need to clear subjects
  • Compartmental candidates
  • Students whose details were incomplete or incorrectly submitted earlier

Eligibility typically includes having the required minimum attendance and passing prerequisite examinations as per board norms.

Next Steps After Enrollment

Once the revised registration window closes at 12:00 PM on 28 January 2026, schools will be able to collect and distribute the updated admit cards to students. WBBSE is expected to issue revised hall tickets reflecting completed registrations on 29 January 2026. Students and parents should ensure they receive the updated Madhyamik Pariksha Admit Card 2026 from their schools and verify that all personal and examination details are correct ahead of the board exams.

Madhyamik Pariksha 2026 Exam Dates

The WB Madhyamik Pariksha 2026 is scheduled to be conducted from 2 February 2026 to 12 February 2026 in pen-and-paper mode. Detailed subject-wise timetables and exam day instructions will be shared by the board through official channels. This last-chance registration window provides a crucial opportunity for affected students to secure their place in the Madhyamik Pariksha 2026 without missing the board exam schedule.
