WB NEET UG 2025 Counselling has been suspended till further notification by the West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee. The announcement has been made by the officials of the WBMCC just two days before the release of the Round 1 Seat Allotment Results.
The suspension of the counselling process was made after the order of the Calcutta High Court, due to the ongoing legal process on OBC reservation. The last update regarding the West Bengal NEET UG 2025 Counselling was about the release of the updated merit list, which was released on August 16, 2025. The Round 1 Seat Allotment Results were expected to be out today, August 20, 2025, on the official website. After which, the candidate who has received a seat in the Round 1 Allotment has to report to their allotted college within the timeline of August 21, 2025, to August 23, 2025. But due to the legal conflicts, everything has been put on hold.
The participating candidates are advised to visit the official website more frequently to stay updated regarding the release of the Round 1 Seat Allotment Results.

As soon as the authority releases the WB NEET UG 2025 Counselling Round 1 Seat Allotment, the candidate will be able to access their seat allotment results by following the steps mentioned below:

- Next, the candidate is required to click on the link named ‘WB NEET UG 2025 Counselling Round 1 Seat Allotment Results’ available on the website.
- Now, the candidate is asked to enter their login credentials and click submit.
- The WB NEET UG 2025 Counselling Round 1 Seat Allotment Results will be displayed on the screen.
- Download the seat allotment letter and save it for future reference.
