VITEEE 2026 Eligibility: Key Criteria
Nationality
Applicants must be resident or non-resident Indian nationals, or OCI/PIO holders. NRI candidates must apply under the “NRI category” in the VITEEE application form.
Age Limit
Candidates must have been born on or after July 1, 2004. The date of birth mentioned in the high school certificate will be considered for eligibility verification.
Qualifying Examination
Candidates must have completed or be appearing in one of the following qualifying exams in 2026:
- 10+2 examination or equivalent conducted by CBSE, any state board, or other recognised board
- Intermediate or two-year pre-university exam conducted by a recognised board or university
- GCE (London, Sri Lanka, Cambridge) Advanced Level examination
- High School Certificate Examination of Cambridge University/Pearson Edexcel (UK) for PCM subjects
- International Baccalaureate Diploma by IB Office, Geneva
- SSC examination conducted by National Institute of Open Schooling with at least five subjects
For candidates with qualifications from outside India, an equivalence certificate converting grades/CGPA to percentage is mandatory.
