Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) Chennai campus has opened its admissions for the academic year 2026 for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Prospective students can now complete the application process online ahead of the 15 May 2026 deadline.

VIT Chennai 2026 Courses and Eligibility Criteria

VIT Chennai offers a variety of programmes at the UG and PG levels, including BTech Fashion Design, BA LLB, BBA LLB, BSc Computer Science, BSc Economics, BSc Fashion Design, BBA Hons, BCom Hons, MSc Applied Psychology and LLM. To be eligible for undergraduate programmes, candidates must have passed the Class 12 examination with required percentage marks in relevant disciplines. Postgraduate applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree with specified marks. There is relaxation of 10% in eligibility criteria for SC/ST students and those from Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and North Eastern states.

Selection Process and Merit List
