The Uttarakhand Board Class 10 examinations 2026 have commenced from February 23, 2026, across the state. The exams are being conducted by the Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) at 1,261 examination centres. This year, more than two lakh students are appearing for the High School board examinations, including regular and private candidates.
UK Board Class 10 Exam Timing 2026
As per the official schedule, the UK Board Class 10 exams are being conducted in a single shift each day.
- Exam Timing: 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
- Reporting Time: At least 30 minutes before the exam
Students are advised to reach their allotted exam centres well in advance to avoid last-minute inconvenience.
Number of Students Appearing
According to official data released by the board:
- Regular candidates: 1,10,544
- Private candidates: 1,722
- Total candidates: Over 1.12 lakh for Class 10
The examinations are being held not only across Uttarakhand but also at select centres outside the state.
First Day Subjects
On the first day of the examination, students appeared for the following papers:
- Hindustani Music (Melodic)
- Typing (English/Hindi)
Remaining subjects will be conducted as per the official datesheet released earlier by UBSE.
Uttarakhand Board Class 10 Exam Day Guidelines
Students must strictly follow the instructions issued by the board:
- Carry the UK Board Class 10 admit card to the exam centre
- Do not carry mobile phones, smart watches, or electronic devices
- Use only permitted stationery items
- Follow seating arrangements and invigilator instructions
- Avoid unfair means; strict action will be taken in case of violations
The board has deployed flying squads and monitoring teams to ensure fair and smooth conduct of the examinations.
