Utkal University Law College (ULC) will conduct the third Vishwanath Pasayat Memorial National Moot Court Competition 2025 from October 7 to 9, 2025. The registration process for the event is currently open and will continue until September 22, 2025. The three-day competition will be organised at the University Law College, Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The event is designed to sharpen the adjudicatory and advocacy skills of law students through simulated court proceedings.
Moot Court 2025: Key Highlights
Eligibility Criteria
- Open to students enrolled in integrated BA LLB / BBA LLB / BSc LLB programmes.
- Students from three-year LLB programmes at any Bar Council of India (BCI) or UGC-recognised university are also eligible.
- Each team must consist of two to three members.
- A two-member team will have two orators.
- A three-member team will include two orators and one researcher.
Registration Details
- The registration form is available on the official Utkal University website (Google Form link).
- Only the first two teams from each institution will be allowed to register.
- Teams must complete the registration process by September 22, 2025 to secure participation.
About the Moot Court
The competition is held annually in memory of Justice Vishwanath Pasayat. It provides students with exposure to real-world legal problem-solving and enhances their litigation, drafting, and argumentation skills
