UPTET 2026 Registration From March 27, Exam Dates Announced for Teaching Posts as the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission has released the schedule. The application process will begin from 27 March 2026 on the official website. The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) is conducted for candidates seeking teaching positions for Classes 1 to 5 (Primary) and Classes 6 to 8 (Upper Primary) in the state.

 

UPTET 2026 Registration Date and Application Details

The application process will be conducted online through the official portal upessc.up.gov.in. Candidates must complete registration within the prescribed timeline. As per official updates, a One-Time Registration (OTR) system has been introduced to simplify the process. This system allows candidates to securely save their details for future exams. Candidates are advised to carefully fill in personal, academic, and eligibility details while submitting the application form.

 

UPTET 2026 Exam Date and Schedule for Classes 1 to 8

The commission has already announced the exam dates for UPTET 2026. The exam will be conducted over multiple days due to a large number of applicants. The exam schedule is as follows:

  • Exam dates: 2 July to 4 July 2026

The examination will be conducted for two papers:

  • Paper 1: For Primary level (Classes 1 to 5)
  • Paper 2: For Upper Primary level (Classes 6 to 8)

Each paper assesses candidates’ eligibility for teaching roles in government and aided schools.
