UPSSSC has announced 402 vacancies for Assistant Boring Technician posts. The application process will start from 15 April 2026 and end on 5 May 2026. Candidates will be selected based on PET 2025 score and main exam performance.

UPSSSC Recruitment 2026 notification has been released for 402 Assistant Boring Technician posts in the Minor Irrigation Department. The online application process will begin from 15 April 2026 on the official website uppsc.up.nic.in and will continue till 5 May 2026.

UPSSSC Eligibility Criteria 2026 for Assistant Boring Technician

Candidates must meet both educational and age requirements to be eligible for the recruitment.

 

Educational Qualification:

  • Must have passed Class 10 (High School) or equivalent
  • Additionally, one of the following is required:
    • ITI certificate in Tube Well Mechanic
    • 2-year ITI course in Machinist, Fitter, Wireman, or Turner
    • 3-year National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in relevant trades

Age Limit:

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age: 40 years (as on 1 July 2026)
  • Age relaxation applicable as per government rules

 

UPSSSC Salary 2026 and Benefits

Selected candidates will receive salary under Pay Level-2 of the 7th Pay Commission.

  • Salary Range: INR 19,900 to INR 63,200

UPSSSC Selection Process 2026

The recruitment process is based on performance in eligibility and main examination stages. Selection stages include:
