The examination is scheduled in two shifts each day. Do not assume that every registered applicant will appear on the same date or at the same time. Check your individual examination details before making travel arrangements.

Is the UPSSSC PET city slip the same as the admit card?

No, the city intimation slip is not the admit card. It gives you advance information about the examination city or district so that you can plan your journey.

You should remember these differences:

• City intimation slip: Helps you identify the allotted examination city in advance.
• Admit card: Provides the examination-related information required for entry, including the centre address and other instructions.
• Exam day: Follow the reporting time, identity proof requirements, and instructions printed on your admit card.

Do not rely on the city slip alone for entry to the examination hall. Wait for the admit card and read all instructions carefully.

What should you do after downloading the UPSSSC PET city slip?

Once you have checked your allotted city, take a few practical steps before the examination.

• Save the slip: Keep a digital copy on your phone and a backup.
• Plan your journey: Check transport options and the approximate travel time.
• Watch for the admit card: Visit the official UPSSSC website regularly for updates.
• Revise your syllabus: Use the remaining time for practice questions and revision.
• Verify exam instructions: Check the reporting time, permitted items, and identity proof requirements when the admit card is released.

If you notice a problem with your details, contact the commission through its official communication channels rather than relying on unofficial websites.
