The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has officially announced the exam date for the recruitment of Forest Guard and Wild Life Guard posts. As per the notice, the written examination will be conducted on November 9, 2025. Candidates who had applied under Advt. No. 10-Exam/2023 can check the schedule and other details on the official website, upsssc.gov.in. The recruitment notification was released in September 2023, and applications were accepted from September 20, 2023, to October 10, 2023. After a gap of nearly two years, the Commission is now set to conduct the exam for a total of 709 vacancies.

UPSSSC Vacancy 2023 Details
The recruitment drive is being conducted for 709 posts, including:
- Forest Guard: 693 posts
- Wild Life Guard: 16 posts
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates were required to meet the following eligibility conditions:
- Must have passed Class 12 (Intermediate) examination from a recognized board.
- Should possess a valid UPSSSC PET 2022 scorecard.
- Age limit as on July 1, 2023: 18 to 40 years (with relaxations as per rules).
Selection Process
The UPSSSC Forest Guard and Wildlife Guard recruitment process will include multiple stages:
- Shortlisting through UPSSSC PET 2022
- Written Examination
- PET (Physical Efficiency Test) & PMT (Physical Measurement Test)
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination
Only candidates who qualify at each stage will proceed to the next round.
Application Fee
The application fee was nominal and uniform across categories:
- General, OBC, EWS: ₹25
- SC, ST, PH (Divyang): ₹25
Payment was accepted via Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI, and other online methods.
UPSSSC Admit Card 2025
The admit card for the UPSSSC Forest Guard and Wildlife Guard exam will be released shortly before the exam date. Candidates will need their registration number, date of birth, gender, and verification code to download the admit card from the UPSSSC portal.
