The early metro service was announced after concerns were raised about the availability of public transport during the early morning hours for candidates appearing for the defence examinations.

The Delhi Traffic Police coordinated with DMRC to support candidates travelling to examination centres. DMRC also announced that metro services would start at 6:00 AM across all lines on September 13.

The decision is particularly important because candidates must enter their designated examination venues before the entry gates close.

UPSC CDS 2 Exam 2026 Timings

The UPSC CDS 2 Exam 2026 will be conducted in three shifts on September 13.

The CDS 2 examination will test candidates in English, General Knowledge and Elementary Mathematics. Candidates appearing for the exam should check the timings mentioned on their e-Admit Card before leaving for the centre.
