The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially released the IAS Mains Result 2025 on its website, upsc.gov.in. Candidates who appeared for the Civil Services (Main) Examination 2025 can now download the result PDF without using any login credentials. The results are available in a roll number and name-wise format. The UPSC conducted the IAS Mains Examination 2025 from August 22 to August 31, 2025 across multiple exam centres in India. Candidates shortlisted in the Mains examination will now be called for the Personality Test (Interview) stage.

 

UPSC Civil Services Mains Result 2025: Direct Link and Details

The UPSC IAS Mains Result 2025 PDF has been published on the Commission’s official portal. Candidates can search for their roll number and name directly in the result list. Those who have cleared this stage are now eligible to appear for the final Interview round, which carries a crucial weightage in the overall merit ranking. The Mains exam is the second stage of the Civil Services selection process, following the Preliminary exam. The final selection will be made based on the combined performance in the Mains and the Personality Test.

 

How to Download UPSC IAS Mains Result 2025?

Candidates can follow the below steps to download the UPSC Civil Services Mains Result 2025:

  1. Visit the official website of UPSC – upsc.gov.in.
  2. Navigate to the “Examination” tab and click on “Written Results”.
  3. Select the link titled “Civil Services (Main) Examination 2025 Result”.
  4. The UPSC IAS Mains Result 2025 PDF will appear on the screen.
  5. Search your roll number or name in the list.
  6. Download and save the result PDF for future reference.

 

UPSC IAS Interview and e-Summon Letters

According to the Commission, the dates for the Personality Test (Interview) will be announced shortly. The interviews will be conducted at Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi – 110069. The detailed interview schedule and the list of roll numbers for each date will be available soon on the official website. Shortlisted candidates will also receive e-Summon Letters for the Personality Test. During the interview process, they must carry all essential documents, including:

  • Educational qualification certificates
  • Category or community certificates
  • Proof of EWS or PwBD claim (if applicable)
