UPSC extends call centre support for CSE and IFoS 2026 aspirants to ensure smoother access to assistance during the ongoing application process. The facility will remain operational every day, including weekends and public holidays, until registrations conclude.
Extended Call Centre Operations for UPSC CSE 2026
The Union Public Service Commission has announced an extension of its call centre services to provide enhanced assistance to candidates applying for the Civil Services Examination 2026 and the Indian Forest Service Examination 2026. The move is aimed at improving accessibility and addressing candidate queries during a crucial phase of the recruitment cycle.
As per the official update, the call centre will operate daily, including Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, ensuring uninterrupted support throughout the application period.
Call Centre Timings and Enhanced Capacity
To maximise outreach, the UPSC call centre will function in two shifts from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM. This extended schedule allows aspirants to seek guidance beyond standard office hours, especially those facing technical or procedural issues while submitting applications.
In addition to longer working hours, the Commission has doubled the call centre capacity. This measure is expected to significantly reduce waiting times and ensure quicker resolution of application-related and examination-related concerns.
Official Statement on Aspirant Support Measures
UPSC Chairman Dr Ajay Kumar stated that the extension of call centre operations is part of a broader set of initiatives aimed at supporting aspirants. These steps are intended to streamline communication, improve responsiveness, and ensure that candidates receive timely assistance throughout the examination process.
The initiative reflects the Commission’s continued focus on building a candidate-centric examination system that prioritises efficiency and transparency.
