According to the official data released with the UPSC ESE Final Result 2025, Civil Engineering recorded the highest number of recommended candidates. Out of the total 458 recommendations, Civil Engineering alone accounted for 202 selections across various categories. Mechanical Engineering recorded 61 recommendations, while 79 candidates were recommended from Electrical Engineering. In Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, 116 candidates have been recommended for appointment. Category-wise distribution includes candidates from General, EWS, OBC, SC, and ST categories, as per the reservation norms followed by the commission.
