The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has started accepting online applications for the Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2026. A total of 474 vacancies are available for engineers across Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronics & Telecommunication disciplines.The preliminary exam for ESE 2026 is scheduled for February 8, 2026, and candidates are required to submit their applications through the official UPSC website by October 16, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for ESE 2026 must meet the following requirements:
- Age: 21–30 years as of January 1, 2026. Age relaxations are applicable as per government norms.

- Nationality: Indian citizens are eligible to apply.
Selection Process
