UPSC ESE 2026 Interview Schedule Released, Check Personality Test Dates

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the interview schedule for the Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2026. Candidates who qualified for the Personality Test can now check their allotted interview date and session.

According to the official UPSC notice, the UPSC ESE 2026 Personality Test will begin on September 21 and continue on multiple dates in September and October. A total of 1,336 candidates have been shortlisted for the interview round after qualifying in the Engineering Services (Main) Examination 2026.

The UPSC ESE 2026 interview will be conducted on September 21, 22, 23, 24 and 25, followed by October 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 22, 23, 26, 27, 28 and 30. Candidates must appear according to the date and session allotted to them.

UPSC ESE 2026 Personality Test Dates

The Personality Test will be conducted in two sessions each day. The morning session will begin at 9 AM, while the afternoon session will begin at 1 PM.

Candidates should carefully check the official interview schedule to know their individual date and reporting session. UPSC has also stated that requests to change the allotted date or time will not be entertained.

The UPSC ESE 2026 Main Examination was conducted on June 21, 2026. Candidates who qualified in the written examination have been shortlisted for the Personality Test. The written result was released on July 24, 2026.

The UPSC ESE 2026 e-Summon Letters for the Personality Test will be made available shortly. Candidates will be able to download their e-Summon Letters through the UPSC online portal.

UPSC ESE 2026 Travel Reimbursement

Candidates appearing for the UPSC ESE 2026 interview will be eligible for reimbursement of travelling expenses. According to the official notice, the reimbursement will be restricted to the Second/Sleeper Class train fare of Mail Express trains.

Candidates should retain the required travel documents and follow the instructions mentioned in the official e-Summon Letter.
