New Delhi, September 10, 2025 — The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially released the interview schedule for the Combined Geo-Scientist Examination 2025. As per the notification, the personality tests (PTs) for qualified candidates will commence on September 23, 2025. The complete schedule has been published on the official websites upsc.gov.in and upsconline.nic.in.
The Commission has also confirmed that e-call letters for the interviews will be issued a few days before the scheduled dates. Candidates must download their admit cards from the official portals. UPSC has further clarified that requests for rescheduling or modifications in the personality test dates will not be entertained under any circumstances.
UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist 2025: Interview Schedule Highlights
The UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist 2025 interviews will be held in two sessions daily:
- Forenoon Session – Reporting at 9:00 AM
- Afternoon Session – Reporting at 1:00 PM
Candidates must reach the designated UPSC office in New Delhi well in advance, carrying their e-call letter and necessary documents for verification.
Travel Reimbursement for Outstation Candidates
UPSC will provide travelling allowance (TA) reimbursement for outstation candidates appearing for the interview, subject to certain conditions. The guidelines are as follows:
- Second/Sleeper class train fare (Mail/Express) will be reimbursed if the journey is performed by rail, irrespective of the class of travel. This is in line with para 132 of the Supplementary Rules.
- Candidates must submit hard copies or printouts of train tickets (for both onward and return journeys), along with the prescribed TA claim form, duly filled in duplicate.
UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist 2025: Result and Shortlisted Candidates
Earlier, UPSC had declared the Combined Geo-Scientist Main Exam 2025 result on July 25, 2025. A total of 296 candidates were shortlisted for the interview stage. The category-wise breakup is as follows:

Important Instructions for Candidates
- Download e-call letters from upsc.gov.in or upsconline.nic.in once released.
- Carry valid photo ID proof along with the e-call letter for entry.
- Ensure timely arrival at the reporting venue according to the assigned session.
- No request for change of schedule will be entertained by UPSC.
