This year, a total of 302 candidates have been recommended for admission to various defence academies.
- Indian Military Academy (IMA): 190 candidates
- Indian Naval Academy (INA): 85 candidates
- Air Force Academy (AFA): 27 candidates
These candidates will proceed to the respective training academies based on their selection.
CDS 2 Vacancy Details 2025
The government had notified the total number of vacancies for each academy earlier. The vacancy distribution is as follows:
- IMA: 100 vacancies (including 13 for NCC ‘C’ Certificate Army Wing)
- INA, Ezhimala: 26 vacancies (including 6 for NCC Naval Wing and 2 for Hydro)
- AFA, Hyderabad: 32 vacancies (including 3 for NCC Air Wing)
Candidates selected will be admitted based on merit and availability of seats.
