UPES has announced the UPESEAT 2026 exam schedule for BTech admissions. The entrance exam will be conducted from 22 January to 24 January 2026, and the last date to apply is 20 January 2026.
UPESEAT 2026 exam dates have been officially announced by University of Petroleum and Energy Studies. Candidates aspiring to secure admission to BTech programmes through the UPES Entrance Examination for Engineering Aptitude Test must complete their applications within the given timeline. The university has activated the registration process on its official website, and eligible candidates are advised to apply before the deadline to avoid last-minute issues.
UPESEAT 2026 Exam Schedule and Registration Deadline
According to the official announcement, the UPESEAT 2026 exam will be conducted from 22 January 2026 to 24 January 2026 in computer-based mode. The examination will be held across multiple slots. The last date to apply for UPESEAT 2026 is 20 January 2026. Candidates must complete the application form submission and pay the prescribed fee by this date to remain eligible for the entrance examination. After successful registration, candidates will receive their login ID and passkey, which will be required to appear for the online exam.
UPESEAT 2026 Slot Booking and Admission Process
Registered candidates will be given the option to book their exam slots as per availability. The university is expected to release detailed UPESEAT 2026 slot booking guidelines shortly on the official website. Following the examination, UPES will announce the results and conduct counselling and seat allotment rounds for qualified candidates. Admissions will be offered based on exam performance and programme-specific eligibility. In addition to UPESEAT, UPES provides multiple admission pathways, including JEE Main scores, board merit, and other accepted entrance examinations, depending on the course requirements.
UPESEAT 2026 Exam Pattern
Before appearing for the exam, candidates should be familiar with the UPESEAT 2026 exam pattern to plan their preparation effectively. The entrance test will consist of 125 multiple-choice questions, with one mark awarded for each correct answer. There is no negative marking, allowing candidates to attempt all questions without penalty.
The total duration of the UPESEAT 2026 exam is 2 hours.
