The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies has revised the UPESEAT 2026 Phase 2 registration deadline to 26 March 2026. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply online and book their exam slot. The exam date for Phase 2 will be announced soon.

The UPES Engineering Selection Entrance Aptitude Test (UPESEAT) 2026 Phase 2 registration window has been extended by the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES). Eligible applicants can now complete their forms and submit the application on the official portal till 26 March 2026.

 

UPESEAT 2026 Phase 2 Registration Deadline and Eligibility

The extended deadline provides additional time for candidates who wish to either improve their scores or apply for the test for the first time. To be eligible, applicants must have secured at least 50% marks in class 10th and class 12th, and 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in class 12th from a recognised board. Candidates need to apply through the official UPES website. Those who register successfully will be able to book their slots and appear for the Phase 2 examination.

 

How to Apply for UPESEAT 2026 Phase 2?

Before filling out the form, aspiring engineering candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria. The online steps to complete the application are as follows:

  1. Visit the UPES official admission portal.
  2. Click on ‘Apply Now’ on the homepage.
  3. Choose ‘New Applicant’ and enter the required details.
  4. Upload the necessary documents and complete the application.
  5. Pay the application fee of INR 1750 to submit the form.

The extended deadline of 26 March 2026 allows candidates to finalise their applications before closing of the registration window.

 

UPESEAT 2026 Phase 2 Exam and Slot Booking

Once registration concludes, eligible candidates will be able to book their preferred exam slots. The test for Phase 2 is conducted as a remotely proctored online exam with a duration of two hours. The official authority has not yet announced the exact exam dates for Phase 2, but it is expected to be scheduled in April 2026 following registration closure and slot allotment. Candidates are advised to complete their forms well before the extended deadline and keep track of further announcements on the official portal to avoid last‑minute issues.
